John W. "Jack" O'Neill, 74, of Manalapan Township passed away June 15, 2009 at the Cranbury Center Nursing Home in Monroe Township. Born in Jersey City, he lived there for approximately 30 years, before moving to Edison for 10 years and then onto Manalapan for the last 34 years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church in Englishtown. Jack was a long-time NJ Right to Life supporter and Witness for Life. He was a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather. Jack was an avid sports fan and loved to watch baseball and basketball, and always enjoyed predicting the winner of "March Madness". Jack was a Manager of Logistics for BASF in Cranbury for 43 years having retired in 2000. He also served his country for two years in the Army. Jack attended St. Patrick's elementary school, St. Michael's high school, and St. Peter's College - all in Jersey City. He is survived by his wife, the former Regina Klein of Manalapan; one son, Timothy of Belcamp, MD; three daughters, Arlene Carson of Marlton, Karen Hancheck of Southampton, and Carol Cantello of Manassas, VA; one brother, Tom of VA; a sister, Frances Lantry of Paramus; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
