| ROBERT W. MALIFF ROBERT W. MALIFF, 70, of WALL, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, from heart failure related to cancer. He retired as a national sales manager for Dayton Industries, Bronx, in 1997 after having a nearly 45-year career in the steel industry in northern New Jersey and New York. He was a graduate of St. Michael's High School, Jersey City, Class of 1952, and attended Seton Hall University. He was a loving father and friend to many. Born in Jersey City, he spent his younger years there before moving to Wall 39 years ago. He was predeceased by his parents, Catherine and James Maliff; and two brothers, James and Eugene Maliff. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Annaclaire Flatley Maliff; a daughter and son-in-law, Maura and Peter Frenzilli of Cheshire, Conn.; a son, Robert of Philadelphia; a brother, John Maliff of Wheaton, Ill.; two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Anna Frenzilli; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews spread across the country. Visiting will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Reilly Funeral Home, 8th Avenue and D Street, Belmar. The family will gather at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Church, Avon.
